Welcome to Ludington Beach House!
The best location. Ludington Beach House is the closest motel (across the street) to Ludington's Stearns Park and its award winning Lake Michigan Sugar Sand Beach, Park, North Pier, and Lighthouse. Ludington Beach House is only 5 short blocks to beautiful downtown Ludington, full of shops, restaurants, frozen yogurt and ice cream parlors, grocery store, and art galleries. Our outdoor heated pool is an extra plus our guests enjoy. When you want the very best location to Lake Michigan and our Lighthouse, Ludington Beach House is your vacation destination in 2023.
Purchased in late in 2016 we took the winter of 2017 to do some major upgrades. The changes include all new luxury beds, sheets and pillows. Also, all new 40" flats screen TV's in every room with plenty of channels and HDMI for your devices. New kitchenettes with mini fridge/freezers, microwaves, coffee makers and furniture. Great Wifi is included and the new system was professionally installed and monitored 24/7 for a strong signal and dependability. We love traveling and safe, clean, and good quality is most important to us. We have tried to make this a vacation rental we would love to stay at.

With 39 units, Ludington Beach House has studio, one bedroom, two bedroom and a three bedroom upper penthouse units. Two ground floor units are set up as easy access units.
We really enjoy creating and supporting businesses that promote and help our area. Ludington, our home, is a great shoreline town with some of the best fresh water beaches you can find.
Our Story
Our vision with Ludington Beach House for the summer of 2023 is to create a great place for our friends and Ludington visitors to stay and enjoy. This classic 1950's motel had been in need of upgrades for several years and we take our new ownership and responsibility of this Ludington landmark property seriously.

Kristin, originally a middle school teacher, spends her time raising our large family, helping our community, and creating and growing Sandcastles Children's Museum. Sandcastles has become a local top attraction and one of the premier children's museums in the midwest bringing over 25,000 visitors to downtown Ludington every year. As Executive Director she has guided its growth since its founding over ten years ago. Kristin also spends her time in our church youth programs and youth mission trips, coaching Girls on the Run, and is a past leader in Girl Scouts and 4H.

Ben focus on supporting my family and community. Hard work is my passion as a Real Estate Broker, property/business consultant and investor. As a Broker/Owner at Lighthouse Realty, the area's largest real estate company, I have the unique position of understanding our local real estate market and utilize that experience for all our Lighthouse Realty Clients. Community involvement includes: Past President of our West Michigan Board of Realtors (twice), Advisory committee member for Sandcastles Children's Museum, past member of our local Zoning Committee, Planning and Tax Review Boards, Church Board of Trustees, advocate of ending domestic violence, and a supporter of our Veteran, Senior, and local Police programs.
